Carry less than a caption

The kit

We do not sell gear. We describe a small bag that survives dust, glare, and the decision to miss things.

01 Cloth

For sun, for dust, for sitting on stone that is not yours. A rectangle beats a gadget.

02 Water

More than looks elegant. The basin and the white hour are not impressed by glass bottles with stories printed on them.

03 Salt & fruit

Something dry, something wet. Markets will do the rest if you arrive after bakers and before the glare.

04 Soft notebook

Paper that can take a stain. Write hours, smells, and one sentence you will not post.

05 Small notes

Cash in modest folds. A lane should not become a card machine because you arrived.

06 Quiet shoes

Dust roads, stone, wet bank. Leave the trophy sole at home. You are not climbing a brand.

07 One lens or none

If the camera becomes a hunt, put it away for an hour. The unnamed walk is allergic to proof.

08 Empty hour

The most important item. A hole in the day the size of a long coffee. See routes.

A worn paper map

What we leave behind

Lists of official titles. Drones. The need to stand where a thousand identical photographs already exist. If it requires a queue to confirm you were there, it is not in this kit.
