Note on appetite

The unnamed table

A shared meal on a simple table

I

Bread that is still hot

Follow the smell, not a review. Pay, tear, share. If it needs a logo on the bag, keep walking.

II

Grill already lit

Eat where the fire is for the neighbourhood. Ask for the catch or the cut of the day. Do not hunt a dish invented for visitors.

III

Fruit in a paper twist

Stand. Juice on the wrist is a better souvenir than a named café. Morning markets are kinder than noon.

IV

Tea as furniture

A glass that lasts longer than a photograph. Sit until the second pour. Leave a chair as you found it.

Spices and dry goods

We do not print restaurant titles. A table is a temperature, a noise level, and whether the cook looks up. If you need a reservation theatre, you are no longer on the unnamed walk.
