These terms govern your use of eg-online.me (the “site”), published by Vast Quiet from 4 El-Tawfiqiya St., in front of El Tawfekeyya center, Downtown, Cairo, Egypt. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Questions: [email protected] or +201098577019.

1. What this site is

The site is an editorial field journal: guides, routes, essays, and images. It is not a booking engine, travel agency, insurance product, or official tourism office. Notes describe weather, pace, and courtesy. They do not name official attractions as products and they are not a substitute for local rules, visas, health advice, or professional guidance.

2. Your use

1. Use the site lawfully and without attempting to disrupt it.
2. Do not scrape, copy, or republish our text at scale without written permission.
3. Do not send abusive, unlawful, or deceptive messages through the contact form.
4. Do not imply that Vast Quiet endorses a tour, lodging, or brand. We refuse official titles in the notes for a reason.

3. Intellectual property

Text, layout, and the Vast Quiet name are ours unless a credit says otherwise. Photographs are sourced from Pexels under that library’s licence and stored locally; we do not claim authorship of those files. You may share a link to a page. You may not present our pages as your own publication.

4. Unnamed landscapes

Field notes are literary and practical sketches. They may omit, compress, or rearrange real geography so that no official name appears. They are not maps, permits, or safety certificates. You walk at your own risk. Heat, water, roads, and other people can change without notice.

5. Letters to the desk

If you submit a note or a question, you grant us permission to read it and, if we agree in writing, to publish a version credited by first name. We may refuse any submission. Privacy handling is described in the privacy policy.

6. No warranties

The site is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or complete. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Vast Quiet is not liable for loss arising from reliance on field notes, from travel you undertake, or from inability to access eg-online.me. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Outbound links, if any, are not under our control. Their presence is not an endorsement.

8. Changes

We may change the site and these terms. The date above will be revised. Later visits are under the updated terms.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply where you live. The desk’s contact details remain as stated above.
